CM Omar Abdullah visits flash flood-hit Budgam, assures full government support
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday visited the flash flood-affected Beerwah area of Budgam district to take stock of the damage caused by the recent heavy rains.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said he inspected the affected area and interacted with the local residents to assess the extent of the damage.
Abdullah assured the affected families of all possible assistance from the government and directed the administration to ensure prompt relief and timely support.
He said the government stands firmly with the people during this difficult time and will extend every possible help to those affected by the flash floods. — (KIMS)
