Unknown gunmen loot 60 lakh from J&K Bank cash van in Shopian
Shopian: Unknown gunmen on Thursday looted cash from cash van near Tak Mohallah near main branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank at Shopian district in South Kashmir, officials said.
A senior police officer told GNS that at least four gunmen attacked the van and decamped with cash which is said to be around Rs 60-80 lakhs even as official confirmation as to the total amount looted is awaited.
A police officer told GNS that a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers and recover the looted cash. (GNS)
