BARAMULLA — Baramulla Police on Sunday executed a detention warrant under the Public Safety Act (PSA) against a man from Arampora, officials said.
The detainee, identified as Hatif Bilal Sofi, son of Bilal Ahmad Sofi, a resident of Arampora, Baramulla, was subsequently lodged at District Jail Anantnag in accordance with legal procedures, police said.
According to police, the detainee is allegedly involved in a serious criminal case involving charges related to murder, criminal conspiracy, explosives and arms, and offences under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). — (KIMS)
