Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Vinai Kumar Saxena on Wednesday paid homage to police martyrs by laying a wreath at the Police Memorial during Police Commemoration Day observances at the District Police Lines in Leh.

Their sacrifice remains a symbol of courage, patriotism and dedication to the country’s territorial integrity.

The occasion holds particular historical significance for Ladakh, where the events that led to the observance took place. The annual commemoration honours police personnel across the country who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
