CM, LG congratulate Auqib Nabi on India Test call-up, hail it as proud moment for J&K

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday congratulated Jammu and Kashmir cricketer Auqib Nabi on his selection to the Indian squad for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister described Nabi’s selection as a matter of immense pride for Jammu and Kashmir and an inspiration for countless young sportspersons across the region.

He wished the pacer every success on the international stage and expressed hope that he would make the most of the opportunity and bring laurels to the country.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also congratulated Nabi, calling his selection a “proud and joyous moment” for Jammu and Kashmir.
