One Killed, Two Injured In Landslide Incident in Udhumpur
UDHUMPUR: A driver was killed even as two others sustained injuries after a major landslide hit several vehicles along Srinagar-Jammu highway at Samroli in Udhumpur district.
Reports reaching GNS said that several vehicles came under a major landslide during, resulting in on spot death of a JCB driver besides injuries to two others. The deceased has been identified as (JCB driver) Mohammed Afroz Alam.
The two injured have been evacuated to a nearby health facility.
Several vehicles have also caught in the incident.
A police official has confirmed the incident to GNS and said that a team is on the spot to assess the situation. (GNS)
