Anantnag, July 23 (ANN): Authorities on Thursday demolished the residential houses of two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, a day after a policeman was killed in a terror attack at Lal Chowk, Anantnag.
According to officials, the demolished houses belonged to Aadil Thokar, a resident of Guree, Bijbehara, and Haroon Ganai, a resident of Hassanpora.
Officials said the action was part of the ongoing crackdown against terrorists and their support infrastructure in the district following Wednesday’s deadly attack in which a Jammu and Kashmir Police head constable was shot dead.
Further details are awaited.
