University of Kashmir Postpones July 23 Examinations Due to Inclement Weather

Srinagar, July 22: In view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions, the University of Kashmir has postponed all university examinations scheduled to be held on July 23, 2026.

According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in light of the adverse weather conditions affecting the region.

The notification states that all examinations fixed for 23 July 2026 stand postponed with immediate effect. It further clarified that the revised dates for the postponed examinations and papers will be notified separately in due course.

The notice, issued under the orders of the Controller of Examinations and signed by the Assistant Controller of Examinations (Conduct), has been circulated to all concerned departments and officials. It has also been forwarded for publication on the University’s official website and in leading local newspapers.

Students have been advised to regularly check official University of Kashmir notifications for updates regarding the revised examination schedule.(KNC)
