Traffic Advisory Issued for Nasha Mukt J&K Mega Padyatra in Anantnag

Anantnag, May 08: Traffic Police Rural Kashmir on Thursday issued a detailed traffic advisory ahead of the scheduled Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Mega Padyatra to be held in Anantnag on May 09, 2026.

According to the advisory, special traffic arrangements and designated parking plans have been put in place to ensure smooth vehicular movement and proper management during the mega rally.

Vehicles ferrying participants from Pahalgam, Aishmuqam, Mattan and Kehribal areas have been directed to move via Sarnal Crossing and Laizbal towards the General Bus Stand parking slot.

Participants arriving from Kokernag, Achabal and Brakpora areas shall follow the route via Brakpora Bypass, Shirpora and Janglatmandi towards Ahli-Hadith Eidgah parking. Additional parking facilities have also been arranged at Hamdania Sumo Stand, New Achabal Adda, Old Achabal Adda, Mechanical Parking and Hanfia Eidgah Anantnag.

Vehicles coming from Kulgam-Qazigund areas shall take the route via Alstop and Wanpoh towards the Railway Station parking slot.

Similarly, vehicles arriving from the Bijbehara side have been advised to move through Bijbehara and Pazalpora towards Batengo Fruit Mandi and Sumo Stand parking slots.

For participants coming from Dooru side, the designated route will be via Dialgam Bypass, NH-244, Alstop and Wanpoh towards the Railway Station parking slot.

The advisory, issued by SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir Liaqat Ali (JKPS), urged the public and participants to follow the designated routes and cooperate with traffic officials for smooth conduct of the event.
