Swift TV Partners with GAIA OS to Expand FAST Reach Across 70 Million Connected TV Devices

New Delhi, May 25, 2026:

Swift TV has entered into a strategic partnership with GAIA OS to significantly expand its global Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) footprint across more than 70 million connected TV devices worldwide.

Under the agreement, the Swift TV application will come pre-installed on all smart television devices powered by GAIA OS, enabling broader distribution and improved discoverability for the platform’s growing FAST content ecosystem.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen Swift TV’s presence across key international markets, including India, North America, Europe, and other emerging connected TV regions. Of the estimated 70 million connected devices included in the integration, nearly 15 million are based in India, more than 8 million in Eastern Europe, and over 2 million in North America.

The announcement comes amid rapid global growth in the FAST streaming segment, as audiences increasingly shift toward free, advertising-supported viewing experiences. While mature markets such as the United States and Europe have already witnessed strong adoption through platforms like Tubi, Pluto TV, Roku, and Samsung TV Plus, emerging markets are now experiencing accelerated uptake due to expanding smart TV penetration and connected TV consumption.

Swift TV currently distributes over 190 live FAST channels spanning entertainment, movies, music, devotional, regional, lifestyle, and news genres. Through the GAIA OS integration, users will be able to access Swift TV’s content ecosystem directly from their smart TV interface, improving ease of access and viewer engagement.

Industry analysts believe connected TV advertising is among the fastest-growing sectors within digital media, with ad-supported streaming increasingly outperforming subscription-led growth models in several territories. The Swift TV-GAIA OS partnership positions both companies at the intersection of three major industry trends: the rise of FAST television, expansion of connected TV operating systems, and the migration of advertising budgets from traditional linear television to connected TV platforms.

The integration is also expected to unlock new opportunities for advertisers targeting scalable connected TV audiences beyond mature streaming markets. With smart TV adoption accelerating across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India, advertisers are increasingly seeking cost-efficient inventory and broader audience reach in emerging digital ecosystems.

Commenting on the partnership, Abhishek Singh, CEO and Founder of Swift TV, said the next phase of FAST industry growth would be driven not only by content but also by smart TV distribution, operating system alliances, and scalable connected TV infrastructure.

He added that the combination of high-growth markets such as India alongside established FAST territories in North America and Europe presents a strong opportunity for advertisers seeking access to relatively underpenetrated connected TV audiences. Singh also highlighted the company’s AdTech capabilities through Germane Media as a key differentiator in delivering monetisation solutions for brands and advertisers.

With the latest partnership, Swift TV aims to further strengthen its position as a global FAST distribution and monetisation platform focused on rapidly expanding connected TV audiences worldwide.
