Raj Kumar Goyal Strengthens Legacy of Seva Through Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Langar

Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to selfless service, Raj Kumar Goyal, National Working President of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society (Regd.), once again led the annual free langar for devotees undertaking the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. The langar, set up at the Tawi River Front, Jammu, was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Rakesh Minhas.

 

 

For Raj Kumar Goyal, serving Amarnath pilgrims is not merely an annual event but a lifelong mission rooted in faith, compassion and humanity. Under his leadership, the Society has been providing free meals, drinking water and essential assistance to thousands of pilgrims every year, ensuring that no devotee is left without care during the sacred pilgrimage.

 

 

 

Addressing the gathering, Raj Kumar Goyal said that serving the pilgrims is both a privilege and a sacred responsibility.

 

 

 

“Every pilgrim is a guest of Lord Shiva. Our mission is to serve them with respect, love and humility. We never ask where they come from—our only aim is to ensure that no devotee continues the journey hungry or without basic facilities,” he said.

Over the years, Raj Kumar Goyal has strengthened the Society’s humanitarian initiatives by mobilising volunteers and donors to provide round-the-clock assistance during the annual pilgrimage. His dedication has earned widespread appreciation from pilgrims and civil society alike.

 

 

 

Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas lauded Raj Kumar Goyal and the entire volunteer team for their tireless efforts in serving thousands of pilgrims and preserving the noble tradition of seva during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
