SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday condemned the alleged use of force by Delhi Police against CPI(M) Rajya Sabha MP John Brittas, calling the incident unacceptable and indefensible.
In a post on X, Omar said beating an unarmed protester was unacceptable under any circumstances, irrespective of the fact that the person involved was an elected Member of Parliament.
“I join all my @JKNC_ colleagues in condemning this reprehensible brutality,” Omar wrote. — (KIMS)
