Massive Anti-Narcotics Crackdown in Anantnag, 15 Locations Raided Simultaneously

Anantnag: In a major offensive against narcotics cultivation, Anantnag Police on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at 15 locations across the district, targeting alleged narco cultivators in a coordinated crackdown.
Officials said illicit crops were being destroyed during the operation, while legal proceedings against those involved have been set into motion. The drive is being carried out in coordination with civil departments, including Revenue and Agriculture, to ensure effective action on the ground.
Authorities described the operation as part of an intensified anti-drug campaign aimed at dismantling narcotics networks and preventing the spread of the drug menace in the region.
