JK Hotliers club Calls for Dignity, Justice, and Welfare of Workers on International Labour Day
Srinagar, May 01: On the occasion of International Labour Day, Mushtaq chaya chairman Jand K Hotliers club JKHC extended his heartfelt greetings to the hardworking labour community and acknowledged their invaluable contribution to society.
Chaya said that Labour Day serves as a powerful reminder of the dignity of labour and the relentless efforts of workers who form the backbone of our economy. Chaya emphasized that every worker whether engaged in construction, agriculture, industry, or the service sector plays a vital role in nation-building.
Chaya stressed the urgent need to protect workers’ rights by ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and access to social security. “Respect, dignity, and justice for every worker must remain our collective priority,”
Chays further urged society to recognize and appreciate the dedication and resilience of labourers, especially those working under challenging conditions to support their families and contribute to overall development.
