Indian Army Flags Off Capacity Building Tour for Kashmiri Girls to NDA Pune

Srinagar, September 24: In a landmark initiative under Operation Sadbhavana, the Indian Army has flagged off a Capacity Building Tour (CBT) for 20 girl students from Kashmir to premier defence institutions in Pune, Maharashtra.
As part of the tour, the students will visit the National Defence Academy (NDA), Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) and Army Institute of Technology (AIT) in Pune to gain firsthand exposure to India’s defence education and training ecosystem.
During the tour, the students will interact with women officers, lady cadets and faculty members and learn about career opportunities, education and life in the Armed Forces.
The initiative aims to empower young Kashmiri girls, broaden their career aspirations, promote national integration and strengthen the bond between the youth of Kashmir and the Indian Army.
