CIK Conducts Searches at Multiple Locations Across Kashmir Valley
Srinagar, August 08: Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) today conducted searches at five locations spread across four districts of the Kashmir Valley Baramulla, Anantnag, Shopian and Bandipora in connection with FIR No. 03/2023 registered at Police Station CIK, Srinagar, under Sections 505 and 153-A IPC, and Sections 13 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
The searches were carried out under warrants issued by the competent court as part of the ongoing investigation. Electronic devices, digital storage media and other incriminating material were recovered and seized in the presence of independent witnesses, in accordance with due legal procedure.
The seized material will be sent for detailed forensic examination to further the investigation.
