CBI arrests fireman for taking Rs 15,000 bribe in Udhampur
Jammu, Oct 6: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested a fireman in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district for allegedly demanding a bribe for processing an NOC for construction of a hotel in Katra, an official said.
Nitish Singh Jamwal, posted in the office of Assistant Director, Fire and Emergency Services, Udhampur, was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant, a CBI spokesperson said.
