Awareness Programme on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Held at CHC Pattan

Pattan, April 22: An awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was organised by the Pattan administration at Community Health Centre (CHC) Pattan on Wednesday to sensitise the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Pattan, Naib Tehsildar Pattan and Block Medical Officer (BMO) Pattan were present on the occasion.
The programme aimed to create awareness among people, particularly students, about substance abuse and the importance of leading a drug-free life.
Officials addressed the gathering and highlighted the growing threat of drug addiction, urging youth to make informed and responsible choices. They also stressed the role of society, especially young people, in building a drug-free community.
Healthcare staff and officials actively participated in the programme.
A pledge was administered to all participants, reaffirming their commitment to stay away from drugs and to spread awareness in their respective communities.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve to contribute towards the vision of a drug-free India.
