ANN Entertainment Becomes Third Urdu Entertainment Channel on JioTV Network
Srinagar: ANN Entertainment, a part of ANN News Network, has marked another milestone by joining the JioTV network, becoming the third Urdu entertainment channel available on the platform after DD Urdu and DD Kashmir.
The addition gives ANN Entertainment access to JioTV’s large and diverse viewer base and marks another significant step in the expansion of the ANN News Network.
The network has already established its presence through ANN News and recently expanded into print media with the launch of Aalimi Nation magazine. With ANN Entertainment now available on JioTV, the network has further expanded its presence across television and media platforms.
According to ANN News Network management, the launch of ANN Entertainment is aimed at providing dedicated entertainment programming to audiences in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Kashmir deserves this achievement. This milestone goes to our mentors who stood by us like anything, and to our viewers who have remained with us throughout this journey,” the management said.
The management said entertainment programming is an important requirement for audiences in the Valley and described ANN Entertainment as the first entertainment television channel originating from Kashmir.
“Entertainment is required for the people of the Valley, and ANN Entertainment is the first entertainment TV channel from this Valley,” the management said.
The management also acknowledged the challenges involved in establishing and operating a television channel.
“There are no doubt many hurdles, but we are trying to keep moving forward,” the management said.
With its presence on JioTV, ANN Entertainment joins DD Urdu and DD Kashmir as one of the three Urdu entertainment channels available on the platform, marking another expansion milestone for the Kashmir-based ANN News Network.
