CM Omar Abdullah reviews administrative, developmental priorities after Darbar Move reopening
JAMMU — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu to assess administrative and developmental priorities following the reopening of government offices in the winter capital after the Darbar Move.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the newly appointed ministers to undertake immediate reviews of their respective departments, expedite ongoing development works and prioritise the resolution of public grievances.
With the working season nearing its end, he stressed the need to accelerate the execution of development projects, ensure adequate winter preparedness and maintain sufficient stocks of essential commodities, particularly in remote and far-flung areas.
The Chief Minister also called for time-bound and people-centric budgetary planning, directing departments to ensure that budget proposals reflect the needs and aspirations of the people. — (KIMS)
