High-Level Education Meeting Held in Srinagar; Dr. Nazrul Islam Baba Attends
Hon’ble Minister for Education, Sakina Itoo, chaired a high-level meeting today at 11:00 AM at the Banquet Hall, M.A. Road, Srinagar, to discuss various issues concerning the School Education Department, with special emphasis on the distribution of NCERT textbooks in government and private schools across Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the official meeting notice, senior officials, including the Commissioner/Secretary of School Education, Directors of School Education Jammu and Kashmir, and the Chairman and Secretary of JKBOSE, along with other senior officers, were invited to attend.
Representatives of civil society organisations and parent associations from both Jammu and Kashmir were also invited to raise key concerns related to education.
Dr. Nazrul Islam Baba, President of PSAJK, also attended the meeting and represented the concerns and interests of private schools across Jammu and Kashmir.
