Police attaches property worth ₹20 lakh under NDPS Act in Doda
DODA — Police in Doda has attached an immovable property valued at approximately ₹20 lakh in connection with a case registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, officials said.
The property belongs to Zaher Abbas, son of Mohd Iqbal Lohar, a resident of Sadeeqaabad, Doda, and is linked to FIR No. 93/2026 registered at Police Station Doda.
Police said the property, identified under Khasra No. 2110/1743/941, was attached under Section 68F of the NDPS Act, 1985.
An attachment notice has been displayed at the site, prohibiting its sale, purchase, lease, transfer or creation of any third-party interest.
Doda Police said the action is part of its efforts to target assets allegedly linked to illicit drug trafficking and dismantle networks involved in the illegal trade. — (KIMS)
