CM reviews Draft Industrial Policy 2026-35 at Civil Secretariat Srinagar
SRINAGAR — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday chaired a meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar to review the Draft Jammu & Kashmir Industrial Policy 2026-35.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed that the new policy should provide a comprehensive and competitive incentive framework, with focused support for priority sectors and emerging sunrise sectors.
He also called for strengthening market access for local industries, further improving ease of doing business and linking incentives closely with local employment generation and skill development.
The Chief Minister said the policy should help create a stronger ecosystem for investment, entrepreneurship and industrial growth while generating meaningful employment opportunities across Jammu and Kashmir. — (KIMS)
