Fire Breaks Out at Darul Uloom Sabeel-ul-Huda in Brinty Dialgam, 13 Students Evacuated Safely

A fire broke out at Darul Uloom Sabeel-ul-Huda, Chinar Colony, Brinty Dialgam, during the night around 12:00 am, triggering panic in the area. The blaze was brought under control with the timely efforts of local residents, police personnel and firefighters from the Fire & Emergency Services Department.
At the time of the incident, 11 students and two Hafiz teachers were present inside the Darul Uloom. They were evacuated safely and in time by the joint efforts of the police and local residents, averting what could have been a major tragedy.
The fire caused damage to one building of the Darul Uloom, while books and clothes belonging to the students were also damaged in the incident. However, all the students and teachers remained safe.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Chairman of Darul Uloom, Maulana Tariq Ahmad Parrey Masoodi, said that prima facie, the fire appears to have been caused by a short circuit.
