CM congratulates MMA fighter Owais Yaqoob on BRAVE CF 107 victory
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday congratulated mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Owais Yaqoob on his impressive victory at BRAVE CF 107 held in Bulgaria.
According to a post on X by the Office of the Chief Minister, Owais Yaqoob defeated an unbeaten two-time IMMAF world champion during the international event.
The Chief Minister described the achievement as a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir as well as the nation and wished the young fighter continued success in his sporting career.
He also expressed hope that Owais Yaqoob would bring many more laurels to Jammu and Kashmir and the country on the global stage. — (KIMS)
