Srinagar Police Warns Against Sharing Content Related to R.P. School Incident
Srinagar: Srinagar Police has issued a public advisory urging citizens not to share, forward, or circulate any videos, photographs, or other content related to the recent incident at R.P. School, Srinagar.
According to the police, the victim involved in the incident is a minor, and the disclosure, publication, or circulation of any information that could reveal the identity or compromise the privacy of the child is strictly prohibited under the law.
Police warned that anyone found sharing such content or violating legal provisions related to the protection and privacy of minors will face appropriate legal action.
The advisory also urges the public to use social media responsibly and refrain from forwarding unverified, misleading, or sensitive content. Srinagar Police said the spread of misinformation, rumours, or speculative narratives can hinder the ongoing investigation and cause unnecessary distress to the victim and the family.
