PDP Demands Probe Into Alleged Recruitment Irregularities in J&K
Srinagar, June 20:
Jammu & Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (PDP) spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir has expressed concern over allegations of irregularities in recent recruitment processes under the National Conference-led government and its allies.
Addressing the issue, Mir said that reports of an alleged recruitment scam have created anxiety among thousands of job aspirants across Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that unemployed youth are seeking answers and demanding transparency, accountability, and a fair investigation into the allegations.
According to Mir, young candidates want assurance that government recruitment processes remain merit-based and free from political influence, favoritism, or any form of manipulation. He emphasized that public trust in recruitment agencies can only be maintained through transparent procedures and strict accountability mechanisms.
The PDP leader urged the government to address the concerns of aspirants and ensure that all allegations are thoroughly examined. He said the future of thousands of educated youth depends on a recruitment system that is fair, credible, and transparent.
Mir further stated that restoring confidence among job seekers should be a priority, adding that any irregularities, if found, must be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
