Valley Gets Its First Entertainment TV Channel as ANN Entertainment Records Massive Viewership

ANN Entertainment has emerged as a powerful new voice from Jammu and Kashmir after officially launching the Valley’s first dedicated entertainment television channel. Within a short span of its launch, the channel has received massive viewership and an overwhelming response from audiences.

 

 

 

 

 

The newly launched entertainment channel by ANN News (Aalimi News Network) aims to promote the rich cultural heritage of  Jammu and  Kashmir through music, local talent, serials, quiz shows, youth-oriented programs, and positive entertainment content.

 

 

 

 

ANN News, already regarded as one of the most popular television channel in the Kashmir Valley with strong viewership across multiple platforms, has now expanded into the entertainment sector with this landmark initiative.

 

 

Editor-in-Chief Tariq Bhat said the launch of ANN Entertainment was the need of the hour, as people in the Valley were missing quality entertainment content centered around local culture, creativity, and positivity.

“Entertainment was missing in the Valley for a long time. People were experiencing stress and anxiety due to continuous exposure to negative content on social media. ANN Entertainment will provide healthy entertainment and help the younger generation engage with creative and positive programs,” he said.

The channel will feature a wide range of programs, including cultural shows, Kashmiri music segments, reality and quiz shows, youth talent platforms, comedy programs, local serials, and special features highlighting the traditions, culture, and identity of Jammu and Kashmir.

Media observers believe the launch marks a significant shift in the regional media landscape, with ANN Entertainment becoming the first entertainment-focused television channel from the Valley to combine local culture with modern broadcasting.
