Vehicle attached under NDPS Act in Pulwama

Pulwama, May 20: Continuing its relentless campaign against drug trafficking and the illegal narcotics trade, Pulwama Police today attached a vehicle bearing registration number JK13B-7561 under the provisions of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 269/2025 of Police Station Pulwama registered under Sections 8/21, 29 NDPS Act and 3/181 MV Act.

The attachment proceedings were carried out by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) NDPS Pulwama during the course of investigation into the said case. The vehicle was found linked with narcotics-related activities and was accordingly attached after completion of all required legal formalities under the relevant provisions of law.

Pulwama Police remains committed towards dismantling the drug network operating in the district and taking stringent action against individuals involved in narcotics smuggling and peddling. The attachment of properties acquired or used through illegal drug trade shall continue as part of the sustained anti-narcotics drive.

District Police Pulwama once again appeals to the general public to come forward and share any information related to drug peddling or narcotics activities with the nearest police establishment so that timely and strict action can be taken against the offenders.
