Indian Army Conducts Two-Week Basic Nursing Course for GDC Pattan Students

Pattan, May 11: The Indian Army has launched a two-week Basic Nursing Course for students of Government Degree College (GDC) Pattan, aimed at equipping them with essential life-saving and caregiving skills.

 

The course curriculum is designed to provide practical training in first aid, golden-hour casualty management, and basic nursing techniques. The initiative seeks to enhance emergency response capabilities and promote healthcare awareness among the participating students.

 

Officials said the programme is expected to be highly beneficial for both students and faculty in the long run, as it imparts critical skills that can be effectively utilised during medical emergencies and community service.

 

The course has received an overwhelming response, with a large number of students registering to participate. The enthusiastic turnout reflects a growing interest among youth in acquiring practical knowledge and contributing to society through informed and timely healthcare assistance.
