CCIK Delegation Meets Div Com Kashmir for ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ Preparations
Srinagar, April 28 : A high-level delegation from the Chamber of Commerce & Industries Kashmir (CCIK) met with the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir today, under the direct instructions of the Honourable Lieutenant Governor. The meeting focused on comprehensive preparations for the upcoming ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ (Drug-Free India) event scheduled for May 3, 2026, aimed at intensifying anti-drug awareness and eradication efforts across Jammu & Kashmir.
The CCIK team was led by President Tariq Ghani, alongside Chief Coordinator Ashiq Bhat, Zubair, and Convener Umar Jan. During the detailed discussions, the office bearers outlined various critical aspects of the event, including logistical arrangements, stakeholder coordination, awareness campaigns, and community outreach strategies to ensure widespread participation and impact.
The Divisional Commissioner commended CCIK’s proactive role in championing this vital national initiative and reaffirmed the district administration’s unwavering commitment. Full cooperation was assured, encompassing administrative, security, and resource support to facilitate the program’s seamless execution.
