CM lays foundation for Srinagar Polytechnic works, e-inaugurates ₹4.20 crore upgrades

SRINAGAR — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday laid the foundation stone for developmental works at Kashmir Government Polytechnic, Srinagar, and e-inaugurated infrastructure upgrades worth ₹4.20 crore across Government Polytechnics in Kishtwar, Ramban, Kulgam and Kupwara.

The projects are aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving facilities at government-run technical education institutions across Jammu and Kashmir.

During the function, the Chief Minister also felicitated students who secured overseas placements, highlighting the Government’s focus on strengthening technical education and creating meaningful employment opportunities for the youth of J&K.

Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi and senior officers attended the function.

The Chief Minister said the Government remains committed to providing students with better technical education facilities and expanding opportunities for skilled youth in domestic as well as international job markets. — (KIMS)
