Anantnag Police Felicitates Investigating Officer for Securing Conviction in NDPS Case

In recognition of outstanding investigative work and dedication towards combating drug trafficking, District Police Anantnag today felicitated Sub-Inspector Nissar Ahmad for successfully investigating an NDPS case that culminated in the conviction of the accused.
The officer was honoured for his professional, meticulous and result-oriented investigation in FIR No. 81/2023 registered under Sections 8/22 of the NDPS Act and Sections 207 & 3/181 of the Motor Vehicles Act at Police Station Srigufwara. His sustained efforts and diligent investigation led to the successful prosecution of the case, resulting in the conviction of the accused after a full-fledged trial before the competent court.
