CCIK President Tariq Ghani Extends Eid-ul-Adha Greetings, Urges Moral Introspection After Budgam Tragedy
Srinagar, May 26: Chamber of Commerce & Industries Kashmir (CCIK) President Tariq Ghani on Tuesday extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the Muslim Ummah and prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the prayers, sacrifices and ibadaat of the people.
In his Eid message, Ghani said that this year’s Eid is being observed in a sombre atmosphere following the tragic incident involving a minor girl in Budgam, which has deeply shaken the conscience of the people across Kashmir and left society in shock and grief.
He said the heartbreaking incident raises serious questions for society and calls for collective introspection about the direction in which society is heading.
Praying for peace and wellbeing, Ghani said, “May Allah grant society peace, safety, mercy and forgiveness, and guide us collectively and individually towards building a better, safer and more compassionate society.”
