Pulwama Police Organises Drug Awareness Programme at GHS Bandzoo

Srinagar, Apr 17: Continuing its efforts against drug abuse, Pulwama Police organised a drug awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan (NMBA) at Government High School Bandzoo.

The programme, conducted by Women Police Station Pulwama, witnessed participation of students and school staff. Participants were sensitised about the harmful effects of drug abuse, its impact on health and society, and the legal provisions under the NDPS Act. Emphasis was laid on making informed choices and adopting a drug-free lifestyle. The school staff also guided students on staying away from drugs.

An interactive session was held, and students appreciated the initiative, expressing the need for more such programmes.

Pulwama Police reiterates its commitment to eradicate the drug menace and urges the public to support the mission of a drug-free society.
